About the artist.

Jenna is a western Canadian artist based in St. Albert, Alberta, working primarily in acrylic. She graduated from the Fine Art program at MacEwan University in 2011, and after a long hiatus from the art world, returned to her art career in 2024 with the support of three valued mentors. She is currently developing her first series "Portraits of the Wild", an ongoing collection that has fueled her love for art and helped it to thrive by focusing on her strong bond to creation. She also enjoys painting portraits of the animals we share our daily lives and homes with– our pets, or as she refers to them…our favourite family members. Whether she’s painting domestic or wild animals, Jenna uses colour and fine detail to reveal the personality and spirit of each critter. Her hope is that every viewer feels a spark of connection—always feeling like they just made a friend.Jenna has a wide range of hobbies that keep her ADHD brain occupied, but loves spending her time most with her mini dachshund, Harley, on “grand” adventures outdoors.
